On 17 August 2026, the 81st anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, PT Huadian Bukit Asam Power (HBAP) officially brought its 162.25 kWp solar power plant into operation.

Built on hybrid on-grid technology, the plant supplies 40–55% of the electricity used by the company’s building and cuts emissions by up to 175 tonnes of CO₂ a year.

It is a practical step, taken in the spirit of independence, towards an Indonesia that is greener, more self-reliant and more sustainable. Energy today, sustainability for tomorrow.
