PT Huadian Bukit Asam Power (HBAP) Receives Certificate of Recognition from PLN UIP3BS for Successful Implementation of Free Governor, AGC, and PSS Systems

PT Huadian Bukit Asam Power (HBAP) has successfully received a certificate of appreciation from PLN's Main Distribution Unit and Sumatra Load Control Center (UIP3BS) for implementing the Free Governor, Automatic Generation Control (AGC), and Power System Stabilizer (PSS) systems.

This award was given as a form of appreciation for HBAP's efforts in maintaining the reliability and stability of the electricity network in the Sumatra region. The application of this technology allows the Sumsel-8 Steam Power Plant (PLTU) managed by HBAP to operate responsively to changes in electricity load. The implementation of Free Governor and AGC ensures more stable automatic regulation of power generation, while PSS plays an important role in reducing fluctuations and maintaining the balance of electricity voltage. This success reflects HBAP's commitment to continue to innovate and contribute to supporting national energy security, as well as complying with electricity system network regulations (Grid Code), in line with PLN's program to improve the reliability of the electricity system throughout Indonesia.
