PUSPASADA (Village Waste Management Center)

As part of its commitment to corporate social and environmental responsibility, HBAP actively supports village communities in addressing organic waste issues that are often a challenge in villages. Through the PUSPASADA program, HBAP introduces and implements biodigester technology as a sustainable environmentally friendly solution.

A biodigester is a device capable of processing organic waste - such as kitchen waste, food scraps, and livestock manure - into biogas and liquid fertilizer. With this technology, communities can not only reduce the volume of waste that pollutes the environment, but also gain economic benefits in the form of alternative energy for cooking and natural fertilizer for agriculture. Through this initiative, the company wants to build a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship with the surrounding community, while contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in terms of waste management, clean energy, and community empowerment.

This program is one of HBAP's concrete steps in addressing environmental challenges while empowering communities in a sustainable manner. By using appropriate technology and participatory approaches, HBAP hopes that this solution can become a model that can be replicated in other areas around the company's operations.
